I think the blog is fantastic as is.

Sewcreative: I like how you made the size bigger. Much easier to see now! Thanks! Keep up the wonderful work!

QuiltMavenAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9101025832346043167.post-49057835988626381422007-08-08T15:54:00.000-07:002007-08-08T15:54:00.000-07:00I have to be honest and say that I have no idea ho...I have to be honest and say that I have no idea how to change the style ... I'm using a standard template designed by another designer. :/

For the record, I do know about usability, I'm a graphic designer by trade with a background of Human Factors (The science of understanding the properties of human capability and designing to apply those principles) - and actually, it's long been a convention that sans serif typefaces are easier to read - especially when used in large blocks of body copy. There's more contrast between the characters and typically they're easier for older eyes to scan.

I myself am horribly myopic and rarely ever wear my contacts (I'm not even at this moment!) and for me, not being able to see my monitor so clearly, sans serif is for me, easier to see.

If you'd like references to those studies, please let me know! I have them around here ... somewhere! :)

Thank you for your comment! :)

If anyone else feels this way, please let me know! I'll look into changing it! :)sew{very}creativehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06128269400412952539noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9101025832346043167.post-42088244868362265912007-08-08T15:29:00.000-07:002007-08-08T15:29:00.000-07:00I wonder if those four great volunteers could get ...I wonder if those four great volunteers could get together and convince you that you really need to need to use a serif type face for your blogging.
San serif may work for short paragraphs, but it is difficult to read line after line after line. Please check Google for typography styles. I'm sure it will improve your site. Just trying to help.Catmoveshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13192091477404637971noreply@blogger.com
